Pa'ina O Ka 'Aina - Sierra Club Awardee Reception

Come join a celebration of the Sierra Club's achievements and raise funds for our local environmental programs! Money raised will support Capitol Watch efforts to pass good environmental laws,  finance our fight to block development of vital food farmlands at Ho‘opili and Koa Ridge and be used to promote a sustainable future for the people of Hawai`i.

Featuring live entertainment, two complimentary drinks, delicious locally-sourced tastes and a lot of great conversation.

Guests will be encouraged to make a personal commitment to explore and protect Hawai`i’s great outdoors by pledging to take action on a conservation issue or to go on a service project or hike.  The Sierra Club is dedicated to encouraging people to explore nature by coordinating volunteers for service projects and providing educational hikes. The Sierra Club also serves as Hawaii's largest, grassroots environmental organization focused on passing good green laws.

The Sierra Club's recent achievements include advocating for aggressive renewable energy standards and winning lawsuits aimed at preventing urban sprawl and preserving open space.
